  1. Halloween is not really a tradition in Denmark either, but most people like dressing up and going to parties anyway. Last year, we had this big party where I fell and seriously hurt my hand. Really, blood was almost fossing out of my palm, and even when I applied a band aid, the blood still ran out of the sides. So I'm panicking and yelling "I'm hurt! Someone help me!" But it was Halloween, and we're theatre students, so the whole place was flooded with theatre blood and "oh no, I've been hurt"-jokes. It took about ten minutes until one of my friends(my Other Half in fact) realized I was actually bleeding.

  2. Oh, and what she did to stop the bleeding before we could put on a band-aid. But we didn't have the proper first aid kit, so she took a piece of wet tissue and put it on my wound, and on top of that she put a lighter and then made sure everything stayed in place, using an elastic hair band. And of course, drunk and stupid as we were, we lit ciggerates with my wrist. I'm lucky I didn't get more hurt xD
I instagrammed my hand before the treatment: http://instagram.com/p/efKwJbBpZa/

    1. I think you should be glad it's blood in your veins and not kerosene or any other inflammable substance :P :P

  3. I was a member of the party comitee, and we dressed up as a family with two scary twin girls, a mum and dad, a dead nanny, a pet bat, and I was the mistress of the father(and mother) in the house xD We were all painted white in the face and had black hair with one green strike.

  5. Well, I don't celebrate Halloween (from Pakistan) but when I was in the States, I had my first encounter with the species known as Trick Or Treaters and I was there when they rang the bell and we opened the door- and I burst out crying. I was like, seven years old and I was howling and my dad dragged me back to the door and made me shake hands with all the costumed people xD but after that, I stayed in my room whenever it was Halloween. >.>

I don't see any problem with basing a comic on this incident xD

  6. Halloween isn't that big in the UK.

I remember making witches costumes with my best friend out of black bags and then cutting stars and moons out of tin foil and making a cape with them :)
